Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. In the last decade, Angela Evelyn has worked in television and film. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards including sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was born in New York New York and fostered by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father at about five. Her younger sister later relocated from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. When she was in high school Bassett saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. In African-American Studies, the year 1980. Master in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main characters, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
